This Flemish Giant belongs to one of my neighbors. They walk it around the block like it is a dog. It’s a truly absurd thing to witness. A few more photos within. It weighs almost 20 lbs and they told me it is still going to gain a few more. It seems to enjoy the walks and getting attention and pets from kids. Here it is at an Easter in our park a few weeks ago.

Take it to the dog park and let it loose, should make for some good entertainment. I didn’t just say that did I?

I’ve known people who do that with their ferrets. I’ve met a couple who did it with their cats. I would be worried about loose dogs and cats

Oh god. I shouldn’t laugh but I did.

Oh yeah. We have lots of wild rabbits in the neighborhood and my dogs love nothing more than to chase them. They nearly pull me over on the leash sometimes when a rabbit hops out of the brush. I haven’t crossed paths with these people while walking my dogs but I can’t imagine it would go well.

I don’t run into wild rabbits much while walking but we have enough squirrels to keep me on my toes

That is one boss rabbit.
And now for something completely different...our youngest just got the other end of the scale, a Netherland Dwarf (apparently)...not attention-grabbing like the leash-trained guy but incorrigibly cute :P

I think in some parts of the world this breed is farm raised for meat.
